Lindsay was born and raised in Saskatoon, and is proud to call this city home. She completed a Bachelor's degree with honours in Biotechnology, Microbiology & Immunology prior to graduating from the U of S College of Dentistry. Lindsay has a strong sense of adventure and enjoys hiking, camping, and snowboarding. She is passionate about travelling - highlights of her career include participating in volunteer dental brigades in Guatemala and India with the Change for Children organization. Lindsay has also spent time volunteering as a foster home for both Saskatoon Dog Rescue and New Hope Dog Rescue - her and her husband feel like they live in a zoo with their two dogs (Risky and Lucy), cat (Eddie), and corn snake (Theo). Donald grew up in Calgary, Alberta, but now calls Saskatoon his home. At the University of Calgary, Donald studied Microbiology and then moved to Saskatoon to study Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Donald is an avid football fan, and enjoys cars, especially those with rotary engines. Donald is bilingual and offers services in both English and Cantonese. Coca was raised in Saskatoon where she studied Physiology and Pharmacology before attending the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Outside the clinic, Coca enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, travelling, going to the lake in the summer, and overindulging in sushi. Coca strives to help patients achieve optimal oral health and looks forward to providing a comfortable and positive experience for every person that walks through the clinic doors.
Courtnee grew up in a small town in southeast Saskatchewan. She graduated dental Assisting and then decided to further her education by completing her advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene with Great Distinction. In her spare time she enjoys camping, travelling, reading, and boating. Courtnee is extremely passionate about ensuring an enjoyable and educational experience for her patients. She is eager to help all her patients achieve optimal dental and overall health at YXE Dental.
Toni is our registered dental therapist that has been in the dental field since 2004. First Toni was a dental assistant and then she returned to school to complete the dental therapy program in 2011. Throughout the years Toni has taken numerous continuing education courses to be as up to date and knowledgeable as possible. Toni prides herself on providing great dental work while making her patients feel confident and at ease in the dental chair. Toni is married to her husband and they have a beautiful daughter. They enjoy small town Saskatchewan life. They have 2 large dogs and a cat that complete their family. Toni’s family spends their time camping, riding quads, playing sports and just generally enjoying each other's company.
Monique is our Registered Dental Assistant. She obtained her education from SIAST Wascana, Regina in 2014. Before that she spent 16 years as a part of the Quality Assurance program and Supervisor in the meat processing industry. She looks after your dental needs in a professional yet caring manner to ensure a comfortable experience. She helps us meet the highest industry standards for sterilization of our operatories and acts as a link between yourself, reception and your dental provider. She looks forward to helping perfect your smile and achieves good oral health. In Monique's spare time she enjoys reading, walking and is a Saskatchewan Rush fan. She is a movie enthusiast and travels as frequent as possible. She is an avid music listener and loves to see as many live concerts as she can throughout the year.
Ashley grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and graduated in 2003 from Holy Cross high school. Before joining the YXE Dental team Ashley had spent the last 10 years in retail management. Ashley is excited for this opportunity in the dental industry to grow and learn as a dental aide while helping her team out as much as possible. Ashley’s spare time includes daily runs, a good book and spending time with her family. Ashley takes pride in her work and looks forward to making all appointments successful!
When she was young, Terrace dreamed of being a tooth fairy when she grew up. She never strayed far from that dream pursuing her certificate in dental assisting and then quickly returning for an advanced diploma in dental hygiene completing both with great distinction. Terrace recently moved from Regina to Saskatoon where her husband is pursuing his masters degree at the U of S. When she’s not in the office, Terrace can be found tutoring future dental assistants and hygienists or making trips to her hometown to visit family.
Sara Situ graduated from GuangZhou University in China in 2007 and has lived in Canada the last 12 years. Sara also graduated from SIAST(Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology) in 2012. In the past, Sara has worked as an administrator for an accounting office and also worked at YWCA as a daycare assistant. Sara is fluent in english, mandarin & cantonese. In her spare time Sara enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Some of Sara's hobbies are traveling, sports and yoga. Sara looks forward to working with all the patients at YXE Dental!
Shaina grew up surrounded by people in the dental field as her father is a denturist and mother is a dental assistant. It was an easy decision for Shaina to follow in her parents footsteps and became a dental assistant. Shaina loves the fact that the ever changing dental field keeps her on her toes. Shaina considers the YXE Dental crew as her second family. She’s been with YXE 8th street since it first opened their doors, and has a strong love for the clinic. When Shaina is not working you may find her at the dance studio as it’s been a part of her life since she was two years old. On the weekends Shaina enjoys being surrounded by the people she loves and having some fun! Shaina looks forward to welcoming you and your family to YXE Dental!
